Ice hockey star (12) from Lower Austria shone in Canada

Benedikt Nutz from St. Margarethen an der Sierning in the district of St. Pölten (Lower Austria) still has big plans. Together with his team, the twelve-year-old won the biggest junior ice hockey tournament in the world for Austria in Canada.

"The tournament in Canada was very cool. Our team played very well," Benedikt says proudly. The "Austria Stars" ice hockey team showed its best side at the Pee Wee Tournament in Quebec City. In front of 10,000 spectators, the young talents won the final against the Atlantic Selects last Sunday. Benedikt Nutz was the only Lower Austrian in the squad to shine on the ice.
