Astrid Eisenkopf has been Deputy Governor for four years, making her the first woman to hold this top position in Burgenland. Now a new chapter begins for her. She spoke to "Krone" about her upcoming trip to Las Vegas, emotional scars and her plan B after politics.

"Krone": Deputy Governor, you are celebrating your 40th birthday on February 22nd. How do youfeel about this day and the start of a new decade of your life?
 AstridEisenkopf: 40 is just a number for me, 30 didn't hurt either. But I don't really get to think about such a question. The only thing I notice is that I take a more relaxed view of certain things as I get older - at work and in relationships.
