Why ski ticket trickery is mostly “trickery”

With season ticket prices of almost 1000 euros and day tickets costing more than 70 euros, some people succumb to the temptation to cheat - usually by passing on ski tickets. The "Krone" explains why this is almost hopeless in times of state-of-the-art technology and vigilant employees. The penalties are hefty.

"People come up with impossible ideas," smiles cable car employee Christian at the entrance to the Pöglbahn (Ski Juwel Alpbachtal-Wildschönau). When the word "double use" flashes up on his screen, it's probably a scam attempt by a skier.
