Smuggling crime in Graz: officers are in custody

Two officers from the Karlau prison in Graz are currently in deep trouble. The two are alleged to have been dealing in cell phones and drugs and were recently handcuffed. The "Krone" is aware of the background to the spectacular allegations. 

The investigations against the two have been ongoing for several months. The Styrian woman, mother of two small children, is accused of supplying prisoners with drugs and cell phones. She was arrested and is currently in custody in Klagenfurt prison. Her husband, a former civilian employee of the prison, was also temporarily arrested but released again.
