Nordin Kapic comes up trumps in San Diego’s win

Nordin Kapic showed off in the dress of the UC San Diego college basketball team on Saturday (local time). The 21-year-old Viennese led the "Tritons" to an 81-60 win over CSU Bakersfield with 25 points. 

The 2.03-meter power forward converted seven shots from distance on eight attempts. He was the game's top scorer in the NCAA's Big West Conference.

Kapic "knows which shots to take," said coach Eric Olen, praising his summer addition. He enjoys the trust of the team, even if he doesn't score as well as he did against Bakersfield, said the Vienna native after his tenth appearance and personal best in points for San Diego.
