Aiming high on the Donaulände and Bulgariplatz, greener on the Südliche Landstraße and more modern in the south: Linz is continuing to develop. As the mayoral election approaches, we take a look at the big plans that will shape the steel city and the wishes of many a Linzer.

Regardless of who the people of Linz elect as their new mayor in January, one thing is certain: Linz is facing major changes, especially when it comes to expanding its infrastructure. On the one hand, projects that will shape the cityscape in the future are being completed. On the other hand, the new head of the city also has the power to get forward-looking projects off the ground or put them into practice.
