Liabilities in the billions, more than 3,600 affected employees, 250 of whom have already been told they have to go - the insolvency of motorcycle manufacturer KTM has gigantic dimensions. Stefan Pierer receives a lot of criticism as owner. "The bashing is not justified," says Florian Beckermann from the interest group for investors.

"Clear answers", demands the outgoing Minister Martin Kocher and identifies "management errors" that are said to have led to KTM ending up in such a financial impasse that insolvency proceedings had to be opened last Friday for three companies of the motorcycle manufacturer from Mattighofen (Upper Austria).
