Soccer is very important in Malta! More than 200 spectators always make the pilgrimage to the home games in the 1st class A in the village of 1875 inhabitants. They have even had a fan club for ten years. "They were just there all of a sudden. They pay membership fees, have a president and make their own shirts, jackets and sweaters," laughs Malta chairman Robert Kohlbacher.
