Competing with Europe's best is an honor for any athlete. But unlike in soccer (with profits in the millions) and ice hockey (where it's a zero-sum game), the European Cup in volleyball is often a cost trap. At least if you - like Carinthia's representatives Aich/Dob and ATSC Klagenfurt - are unlucky in the draw. . .
