How the climate stickers tricked the city of Vienna

In July, activists bathed in a swimming pool they had brought with them in front of the parliament, blocking traffic on the Ringstrasse. The city helped, albeit not entirely voluntarily. A city hall document now shows how this could have happened and what should be done differently in future. 

It was an unusual picture: Last Generation activists trotted outside parliament in shorts, bikinis or swimming trunks. On July 13, they set up a blue swimming pool on the Ringstrasse, filled it with water, splashed around and then posed comfortably in the pool.
