A Carinthian police officer sued hundreds of people after a coronavirus demonstration in Innsbruck in February 2021 because they had shared or commented on false allegations about him on Facebook. The perpetrators were fined heavily in some cases, but one woman from the Innviertel region is now the first not to have to pay. Her lawyer explains why.

"Let this policeman's face go around the world. This policeman escalated during a demonstration in Innsbruck. An 82-year-old innocent man was pulled to the ground, arrested and interrogated for hours," a user accused a then 32-year-old police officer on Facebook after a coronavirus demonstration in Innsbruck in February 2021 - and posted a picture of him.
