Caution, trap when withdrawing money in your vacation destination

Withdrawing money abroad can be expensive - and not just because of possible fees: Criminals often manipulate ATMs, especially in tourist areas. If you then carelessly insert your bank or credit card into such a machine while on vacation, your card is quickly lost or your data read out. What you can do.

Criminals almost always proceed in the same way. They manipulate the ATM so that it reads or saves the data stored on the card (name, card number, expiration date, etc.) or the machine no longer "spits out" the card at all. Before this happens, however, it waits for the PIN code to be entered.
