Provincial politicians are losing (too) much trust

Alarm bells should be ringing loudly in the Lower Austrian government district in St. Pölten and in the state parliament in Eisenstadt. Only 46 percent still trust what is decided there.

Just in time for the National Council elections, the provinces apparently want to show the federal government where the must come from in politics. And in doing so, they have scored a veritable own goal. A closer look into the statistical depths of the new study by the Institute for Federalism is worthwhile.
