Austria's national soccer team can expect a good crowd for its first two home games after the European Championship in the fall. The Nations League match on October 13 (8.45 pm) in Linz against Norway with star striker Erling Haaland was sold out within 30 minutes of going on sale, according to ÖFB information on Thursday.

There was also high demand for the game three days earlier against Kazakhstan in Linz, according to the association. The Raiffeisen Arena holds around 16,500 spectators for international matches. These were also present last year at the first two men's international matches in the new stadium in the European Championship qualifiers against Azerbaijan (4:1) and Estonia (2:1).

Tickets for Vienna match from Saturday
Team manager Ralf Rangnick's ÖFB squad will kick off League B of the Nations League at the beginning of September with an away double-header in Slovenia (September 6) and Norway (September 9). Group 3 will conclude on November 17 with a home game against the Slovenians at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna. Tickets are available from Saturday (2pm).
