Triathlete Lisa Perterer from Villach is competing at the Olympic Games in Paris for the third time. Before the premiere in London in 2012, the 32-year-old even wanted to quit the sport. Now she wants to beat her own best performance in France.

All good things come in threes! Lisa Perterer from Villach is competing at the Olympic Games for the third time. She has already qualified four times, but had to miss out in 2016 due to a fatigue fracture. "That was bitter, I was in really good shape then and the conditions in Rio would have suited me well. My mom would have been there as my coach," says Perterer.
