Lifeguard brought a boy back to life

34 degrees in the shade, swimming weather! Everyone who could was in or near the water on a sunny Saturday. And, as was to be feared, accidents happened. The most dangerous was in Linz, where a little boy was saved at the last second. The lifeguard brought him back to life!

Life-saving on Saturday evening at the children's outdoor pool on Wimhölzelstraße in Linz: a three-year-old boy was in the pool with his parents on the hottest day of the year so far when he suddenly found himself under water. Witnesses pulled the boy out and the pool attendant was able to resuscitate the child before the emergency doctor arrived.

Emergency doctor took child to university hospital
The rescued toddler was taken to Linz University Hospital. The child's state of health is still being closely monitored, but according to initial reports there is no acute danger to life.
