ULT Field 1: How good does the new outdoor speaker sound?

Whether it's in the garden or at the lake, Austrians are increasingly moving outside again these days to enjoy the summer. To avoid having to do this in silence, Sony is tempting us with a new, particularly bass-powerful Bluetooth speaker, the ULT Field 1. We took a listen.

With its new "ULT" audio range, Sony wants to appeal to customers for whom bass is a particular concern: at the touch of a button, the new ULT Field 1 promises to ignite the bass turbo - and in the test it actually amazed us with its astonishing bass capabilities for a 650 gram speaker. But despite the pleasing sound, there are also weaknesses.
