Colorful summer of culture in Innsbruck’s Zeughaus

From 22 June to 31 August, the inner courtyard of Innsbruck's Zeughaus will once again host a colorful program full of theater, comedy, open-air cinema, museum tours and more!

On Saturday, the historic inner courtyard of the former arsenal of Emperor Maximilian I will once again be transformed into a cultural island!

Until 12 July, various professional and amateur groups from Innsbruck's theater scene (e.g. Westbahntheater, Bogentheater or children's theater enemenemuh) will be performing on the open-air stage as part of "Theater unter Sternen", which is taking place for the fifth time this year.

Children's plays, poetry, improv theater & cabaret
Children can especially look forward to the cabaret "Trotzphase Junior" by Tanja Ghetta, the adventurous play "Der raffinierte Zucker" or the staged reading "Ich & Du" with Juliana Haider and Hans Danner.

Highlights for adults will certainly be Thomas Gassner's "Die letzte Runde der Menschheit", the performance "Kein.Mutter.Land", Walter Sacher's "Wie Gott" or "Alpenstegreif", the revival of an ancient form of theater. Every Wednesday until August 28, there is a free "Happy Hour in the Museum" before the performance begins, where you can discover the "Schatz Tirol" exhibition with a glass of Prosecco.

From August 1 to 31, the popular open-air cinema flickers across the screen. Opening with museum tour and poetry slam Saturday, June 22, 8 pm.
