Mountaineering legend Peter Habeler experienced his first e-bike adventure at the age of almost 82! Together with TV star Franz Posch and journalist Toni Silberberger, he ventured into the picturesque Tuxertal valley. Another confirmation that age really is just a number ...

Peter Habeler has experienced many adventures, often breaking records in the process. Together with Reinhold Messner, he was the first person to climb Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen. However, the Zillertal native only experienced his first e-bike tour now, when he got on an e-bike in Tuxertal with his friends, TV star Franz Posch and journalist Toni Silberberger.

It was Habeler's way of proving that you should be open to new things regardless of your age. No wonder, given the popularity. After all, they were welcomed by a nun on a mountain pasture at 1787 meters above sea level: "The encounter with Sister Maria enriched this special day spiritually and gave me the feeling that I am always under divine protection on my e-bike tours through the homeland."
