Daughter (7) injured in accident with drunk driver

A woman driving under the influence of alcohol crossed into the oncoming lane at the weekend in the district of Neunkirchen (Lower Austria) and collided with the car of a 36-year-old father. He and his daughter (7) suffered injuries of indeterminate severity. His 5-year-old daughter was also in the car.

In the municipality of Scheiblingkirchen-Thernberg in the district of Neunkirchen, a 39-year-old female driver from the district of Wiener Neustadt drove her car into the oncoming lane at around 8 p.m. on Saturday for unknown reasons and crashed into the car of a 36-year-old man. Both vehicles crashed down a ditch. 

The man's two daughters were also in the car. The 36-year-old and his 7-year-old daughter suffered injuries of indeterminate severity in the accident. Fortunately, the other child (5) was not injured. The woman involved in the accident had to be transported to the Wiener Neustadt Regional Hospital by the ambulance service; she was injured in the crash. 

Driver intoxicated
The 39-year-old woman tested positive for alcohol, the police announced in a press release on Monday. She was reported to the police.
