Manchester City have taken the lead in the Premier League with two games to go in the season. The "Skyblues" won 4:0 against FC Fulham on Saturday.

English soccer champions Manchester City have taken a big step towards defending their Premier League title once again. Star coach Pep Guardiola's team won 4:0 (1:0) at Fulham on Saturday, knocking Arsenal off the top of the table. Third-placed Liverpool now have no mathematical chance of seeing off their outgoing coach Jürgen Klopp with the league title.

Penalty in stoppage time
Josko Gvardiol scored a brace (13', 71') and Phil Foden (59') for the Cityzens at Craven Cottage in London, while Julian Alvarez (96') added a penalty in stoppage time for the superior visitors. Fulham's Issa Diop was sent off shortly beforehand with a yellow card (95').

With two league games remaining, leaders City have a two-point lead over Arsenal. Should their London rivals fail to win at struggling FA Cup finalists Manchester United on Sunday, City could wrap up the championship early with a win at Tottenham on Tuesday. It would be the fourth Premier League title in a row and the sixth in seven years for Guardiola's trophy collectors.
