VfB Stuttgart are second in the German Bundesliga table, at least until Sunday! 

The Swabians won Friday's match of the 33rd and penultimate round at Augsburg 1:0. Serhou Guirassy, Stuttgart's top scorer, scored his 26th goal in the 48th minute in his 27th Bundesliga appearance of the season.

At least temporarily in second place
As a result, the Bundesliga's surprise team moved past Bayern Munich into second place, at least temporarily.

After their fourth defeat in a row, Augsburg are probably no longer in contention for a place in the European Cup.

FC Bayern will host VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday (17:30) and can reclaim second place.
