New closures on the A10, old chaos in municipalities

The A10 off-ramp closures return on the day before Ascension Day - for the first time, the route from Puch-Urstein to Eben will be closed to destination traffic. However, the communities bordering the Tauern freeway are already groaning under the threat of traffic jams.

"On Ascension Day, trips on the highway will end in traffic jams" - traffic clubs are certain. Increased traffic volumes and hour-long waiting times can be expected on the Tauernautobahn (A10) from early afternoon on Wednesday. Travel to the south is starting up again. The tunnel construction site between Golling and Werfen and the block clearance at the five tunnels will once again become an obstacle for drivers.
