Tyrolean injured four police officers during arrest

Wild scenes unfolded in Innsbruck on Saturday night. Initially, a brawl broke out between three drunk men. The police separated the brawlers and arrested them. However, one of the men (23) put up a fight and injured several officers in the process.

The starting point was an argument between three heavily intoxicated men outside a bar in Amraser Straße in Innsbruck. The argument is thought to have escalated at around 11.30 p.m., with fists flying a little later. Three local men aged 23, 27 and 46 and a woman aged 25 were involved.

According to the police, at least three of them were injured, including the woman. However, the injured refused treatment by the ambulance service.

Four officers injured
Several police patrols were called as the opponents could not be calmed down. The three men were charged with roughhousing at large. One of them also put up a massive fight when the police intervened and injured four police officers during a scuffle. He was also charged with attempted resistance to public authority.
