Two men arrested

Busted with false IDs during a check

Two men aged 24 and 21 were arrested by the police in Wolfurt on Wednesday evening. The duo, who were carrying fake IDs, were caught by officers from the immigration police and the financial police during a check.  

The two men did not get through to the police with their completely forged Bulgarian identity documents. Investigations by the Dornbirn Aliens Police also revealed that the men, who actually come from North Macedonia, were also in breach of the work ban.

The Macedonian passports found on the men were seized. After the investigation was completed, the duo were taken to the Bludenz police detention center.

The forged Bulgarian identity documents were also confiscated. The North Macedonians will be reported to the Feldkirch public prosecutor's office for placing forged, specially protected documents on the market.
