A few weeks ago, our national handball team thrilled an audience of millions: with unbridled commitment and spectacular scenes, the team upset the world's best nations at the EURO in Germany. Now the handball heroes are heading into the World Cup play-off against Georgia and you can be there live in the arena.

At the EURO in Germany, the red-white-red handball elite were able to snatch points from nations such as Spain, Croatia, Hungary and the eventual semi-finalists Germany. After the most successful EURO participation of all time, it is now time for the next mission: the most successful World Cup participation of all time!

However, the handball team led by coach Aleš Pajovič still have to beat Georgia in the second leg of the World Cup play-off. Only then can the handball team celebrate their participation in the World Cup in Croatia in January 2025. The second leg will take place on Sunday, May 12 at 4:00 pm in the Steffl Arena in Vienna.
