Offer in the summer? Man City hot for Bayern pro
Manchester City have declared Bayern professional Jamal Musiala their number one transfer target. The English top-flight club may make an offer as early as the summer.
As the English daily newspaper "Guardian" reports, star coach Pep Guardiola is particularly impressed by the performances of the 21-year-old, whose contract with Bayern runs until 2026. In addition to City, Chelsea FC are also interested in the midfielder.
The Sky Blues are said to be prepared to put around 140 million euros on the table for Musiala, according to other English media. His current market value is 110 million euros.
Eberl clear: "He should become the face of FC Bayern"
A few weeks ago, however, Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl said of the young star: "He should become the face of FC Bayern in the future. Jamal is already a player who brings a lot of joy, who embodies Bayern Munich to the extreme. That is simply one of our intentions, to make him the new face of FC Bayern." At 140 million, however, even the German record champions are likely to become weak.
