Turks on the list for Chamber of Labor elections cause a stir

A campaigning group is courting Turkish migrants and is now raising many questions in the election campaign finale with paid consultations, which the Chamber of Labor normally offers free of charge.

No fewer than 16 campaigning lists are currently running in the Chamber of Labor elections in Vienna. Twelve of them are already represented in the 180-member plenary assembly. Among them is the list HAK IŞ - Liste Perspektive LP - Fatih Vural (LP), which achieved 1.9 percent of the vote (5741 voters) in the last Chamber of Labor elections in 2019 and currently has three chamber members. What is special about the list: It is aimed specifically at Turkish employees. But it is not just Turkish migrants who are the focus.
