15-year-old collided with police car while fleeing
A police patrol caught the attention of a 15-year-old moped driver in Enns on Saturday evening because he was driving in the wrong direction on a traffic circle. However, the boy ignored the stop signs, blue lights and siren - continued to accelerate and collided with the police car as he fled.
At around 9.30 pm on Saturday, a police patrol in Enns came across a moped driver (15, from the district of Perg) in their lane at a traffic circle. The officers therefore took up the chase, but the 15-year-old did not reduce his speed.
Tested for drugs
The boy on his moped also ignored the stop signs, blue lights and siren. It was only when the teenager collided slightly with the police vehicle in Stadlgasse in Enns that he was stopped. Nobody was injured.
A drug test was positive. In addition, a noise measurement revealed that the moped was exceeding the decibel limit. The 15-year-old has lost his driver's license for the time being and the registration for the two-wheeler has been revoked.
