Klauß: “I don’t care about the opponent in the final”
Rapid reached the final of the ÖFB Cup with a 3-0 win in Leoben. Here are the comments on the game ...
Robert Klauß (Rapid coach): "We won confidently 3-0, even if we allowed a few situations from our opponents. All in all, it's okay here, where three Bundesliga teams have been eliminated. I said at half-time, 'please don't become passive', but we then withdrew too far and finished many situations sloppily. In the end, what counts is that we progressed. I don't care about the opponent in the final."
Rene P oms (Leoben coach): "When you take the lead, the game looks completely different. Then we almost got the 0:1 with the first chance. In a game like this, it's important that you keep the score at zero for as long as possible, and we didn't manage that today. Rapid then got more space and they are really good up front. But I can't fault my team for their fighting spirit. If we had scored in the second half, it might have been interesting again. But we weren't granted the goal today."
