“Praterstrasse” gets a new highball bar
A new bar is now opening at Praterstrasse 18 in Leopoldtstadt in the club of the same name, "Praterstrasse", which is also home to the pizzeria "Superstrada 18".
With the new bar, bar expert Daniel Schober wants to set a counterpoint to the numerous Viennese American bars. The focus here is on highballs: following the highball principle, the bartenders always build the drinks in a glass and top them with a sparkling filler. Instead of the citrus slice, the drinks are garnished with dried fruit. These serve as bar decorations in beautiful glass containers at the bar and as a particularly chic garnish in the drink.
For the eye, a MicroGreen is placed on top of the double-frosted ice. For the nose, homemade aromatic perfumes made from high-proof neutral alcohol and essential oils and essences from the pharmacy are used. The offer is rounded off with some classic cocktails, including the Espresso Martini.
The grand opening will take place on April 3, accompanied by pizza and antipasti.
