There are currently ten career changers in Burgenland. Almost none of these new teachers want to talk about their experiences so far by name. But there is certainly a need to talk anonymously.

Anyone who wants to become a teacher at a compulsory school can submit their documents to the Directorate of Education from April 1 to 16. The job advertisement for compulsory school teachers in Burgenland will run until then. Christoph Windisch, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Teacher Staff Representation, hopes that many people will apply: "Vienna and Vorarlberg currently have the biggest shortage of teachers. Nevertheless, it is already clear that we no longer have the necessary number of qualified teachers, especially in the secondary school sector."
