63 km/h too fast

Motorcyclist sped past a plainclothes patrol

A motorcyclist was speeding at 63 km/h on Tuesday evening shortly before Krumpendorf after he unsuspectingly overtook an unmarked police patrol. 

The 34-year-old was traveling from Pörtschach towards Krumpendorf on Tuesday when he overtook a plainclothes patrol from the provincial traffic department at around 5 p.m. at a clearly excessive speed. 

Driving license taken away immediately
The motorcyclist was then measured by the police at 133 km/h instead of the permitted 70 km/h. "Due to the considerable speeding of 63 km/h, the driver's license was confiscated on the spot," said an officer. The man from Klagenfurt will also be reported to the police.
