Not fully fit, but Sarrazin challenges Odermatt

Cyprien Sarrazin will be back in action at the World Cup final in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. This was confirmed to the APA - Austria Press Agency by a spokesperson for the French Ski Association. 

The speed specialist, who won both downhill races in Kitzbühel this year, has been suffering from a calf injury since a training crash in Kvitfjell in mid-February and has not raced since. Sarrazin is the only remaining World Cup challenger to Marco Odermatt in the downhill.

He is 42 points behind the Swiss, who can win his first downhill globe this year, ahead of the final race next Sunday (11.15 am). Sarrazin is not at 100 percent, but will try his best, said the spokesman. His left leg had passed the stress test during training at the weekend.
