Aich/Dob secured third place in the Central European Volleyball League MEVZA at the Final Four in Bleiburg on Sunday.

With a smooth 3:0 (23,23,19) victory over Slovakian representative Spartak Myjava in the small final, Aich/Dob secured third place in the Central European Volleyball League MEVZA at the Final Four in Bleiburg on Sunday. The Carinthians also gained self-confidence for the third match of the "best of five" semi-final series of the domestic Bundesliga against defending champions Hypo Tirol on Wednesday.

OK Kamnik won the MEVZA title in an all-Slovenian final with a 3:1 victory over Aich/Dob's semi-final opponents OK Maribor.
