Money as a factor: Walker open to ‘desert’ move

In a podcast, Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has commented on a possible move to Saudi Arabia. He said he wanted to keep this option open, with money of course being a major factor. 

"I will never say never. The money they pay is obviously a huge factor if you move there," Walker explained on ex-Manchester United footballer Rio Ferdinand's "FIVE" podcast. A move to Saudi Arabia is definitely an option for the 33-year-old.

"Cristiano Ronaldo has opened the door for all other players. If they keep paying so much money there, the league will get better and better. So why wouldn't you want to move there?" the City defender added. 

However, his focus remains on the title hunt in England. Walker wants to continue to lace up his boots in England for as long as possible: "For me, the Premier League is the best league in the world. I want to play here as long and as well as possible."

Scandalous private life
Rumors of a departure from Manchester emerged last summer, when Walker was on Bayern's wish list. In the end, however, coach Pep Guardiola was able to convince him to stay. 

In addition, the Englishman has recently been in the headlines mainly due to his private life. The 33-year-old cheated on his wife Annie Kilner for years. He even has two children with his affair. Meanwhile, his wife is expecting their fourth child.
