Heraf snaps: “Want a slap on the wrist, you fool?”

A heated exchange after the Bundesliga match between Rapid and Lustenau last Sunday (1:1). Lustenau coach Andreas Heraf, of all people, who is a Rapid legend in Hütteldorf, clashed with a supporter of the home side after the final whistle. The video (see above) went viral.

The background: Heraf's family is said to have watched the match from the family sector, which is why the 117-time Rapid professional made his way to the stands after the match, according to reports. Apparently, a Hütteldorf fan took this as an opportunity to openly express his opinion to the coach.

"Come here if you dare"
The words that were uttered, however, met with considerable resistance from Heraf, and the 56-year-old retorted in a rage: "Come here if you dare! You idiot need 20,000 (people, note) to come down here? You mushroom ..." Heraf has already spoken out about the incident, explaining that his family felt threatened

Just last week, a video from the Allianz Stadium caused a scandal. The clip showed players and officials from the Green-White team insulting Vienna's Austria team with sometimes homophobic chants.
