Alaba has what it takes for Mössingen and Tübingen

"TSG Mössingen and Tübingen will be asking for you." Comedian Teddy Teclebrhan attests to David Alaba's "great" potential. He comes to this conclusion because he offered Alaba a guest role in his show - which the convalescing ÖFB captain performed with great talent.

It begins with an interesting, albeit largely empty, dialog on the fence. Amazon Prime player Teclebrhan is training with friends on your artificial pitch when he spots Alaba hanging on the fence - clearly with the intention of playing. Minutes of contentlessness and pointlessness pass while Alaba visibly struggles not to burst out laughing. The corresponding preview clip had already gone viral the previous week.

"Do you want to play professionally?"
The full-length clip is now online. It shows Alaba having a funny kick-about with Teclebrahn, a footballer of apparently mediocre ability. The interlude is garnished with a few jokes and a final summary from "Coach" Teclebrhan. He asks Alaba whether he wants to become a professional footballer. "I'm planning to", replies the Real Madrid legionnaire with a mature coolness. There is no depth worth mentioning, but the clip is definitely enough for a few light-hearted, irrelevant minutes to switch off.

"Brutally heavy"
In "real" life, David is currently working on his comeback. After tearing his cruciate ligament in December, Alaba is working hard to make sure he can still play in the European Championships this summer.

Even though team boss Ralf Rangnick explained last week at the "Krone" Leadership Day that "realistically, it might not work out" - and that it would be "brutally difficult" to have to replace David.
