For years, far too much has been built in Vienna - but the wrong things. Now the industry is in crisis. This is costing jobs and driving up rents. Yet more affordable (!) living space is needed.

Austria's construction industry is in crisis and - as reported - is calling for help from the federal government. Not only do many jobs depend on the industry, but also urgently needed living space. But it has to be the right one.
