A schnapps against gridlock! A big "traffic jam festival" is taking place in Salzburg's second largest city next Saturday. As a sign against the traffic jams - and because it's the only legal way to do something about it.

"I can't even get into my garage. It's really no fun and a bottomless insolence." Or: "Cars and motorhomes on the cycle path. A joke, with all due respect." Countless Hallein residents are currently venting their anger on Facebook and Instagram. The traffic jam madness hit Salzburg's second largest city with full force at the weekend.
