After the fatal work accident in Gampern in Upper Austria, there is not only consternation at the scene of the accident, but also at the home of the deceased company boss. Because it was he and an employee who came to the aid of the buried victims - the men died during the rescue attempt.

The spring sun shines from a cloudless sky, and the construction site nestles almost idyllically on the edge of the 3,000-strong community of Gampern. While people were celebrating on Shrove Tuesday in the town center about 500 meters away, a tragedy was unfolding here. At the "Krone" location, the site is deserted, but company cars are still parked there and items of clothing are hanging on a wooden post.
