Styrian carmakers set their sights on Indian success
The European car market is in crisis, so the focus is increasingly turning to other regions of the world, such as India: on Saturday, a Styrian business delegation will start its trip to the giant country - organized by the Internationalization Center Styria. Representatives from AVL, ACstyria and Montanuniversität Leoben talk about the great opportunities they sense.

Today, the Graz-based automotive group AVL has seven centers spread across the map of the emerging economic power. "Out of 12,000 employees worldwide, 1,000 work in India - that's more than in China or America," calculates Maria Kollmann. As a representative of AVL, she wants to expand this promising market even further.
