Hollywood-ready appearance in Audrey Hepburn gown

This appearance was almost Hollywood-worthy! Ivanka Trump chose a very special dress for her father's inauguration ball: a tailor-made reinterpretation of a dress once worn by film icon Audrey Hepburn.

While First Lady Melania Trump simply cut a great figure in her white and black gown by Hervé Pierre, Trump's daughter Ivanka had come up with something quite extraordinary for her father's ball. 

"Sabrina" dress tailored to her body
The 43-year-old appeared alongside her husband Jares Kushner in an enchanting Givenchy gown with a special background: the designer piece was a reinterpretation of the 1954 design by Hubert de Givenchy worn by none other than Hollywood icon Audrey Hepburn in the film "Sabrina".

The gorgeous, off-the-shoulder dress with a long train, which was covered in a delicate floral pattern, was tailored to the president's daughter by the luxury label. Ivanka paired the designer dress with long black gloves and black high heels.

Thanks to an elegant pinned-up hairstyle, the diamond necklace and sparkling stud earrings that rounded off the outfit were shown to their best advantage.

Hepburn is a "personal inspiration"
A White House spokesperson said Ivanka was "honored" to wear the dress.

She said she was "incredibly grateful to the Arnault family and the Givenchy atelier for creating this masterpiece, capturing the original artistry and elegance with remarkable precision and craftsmanship".

"Audrey Hepburn has long been a personal inspiration for Ivanka," the statement concluded.
