Lukas Feurstein has now also had to withdraw from the Super-G in Bormio due to a broken metacarpal bone. The Vorarlberg native has already undergone successful surgery and should soon be fit for action again.

ÖSV ace Lukas Feurstein will now also have to miss Bormio (It) after the World Cup stop in Alta Badia (It) due to a fracture of the metacarpal bone in his left hand, which he suffered during giant slalom training in Saalbach. This was confirmed by the ÖSV in response to an inquiry from "Krone".

The smooth fracture has already been successfully operated on at the Kettenbrücke Sanatorium in Innsbruck, and Feurstein should be fit for action again in January.
