“I’ll shoot them all”: Cobra arrested hunter

Major police operation with Cobra in Steinerkirchen (Upper Austria)! On Sunday lunchtime, a waitress called the emergency services after a hunter, who had already threatened to "shoot everyone" three weeks ago, threatened her again. The owner of several weapons was reported and temporarily arrested. 

Not quite two months ago, hunter Roland Drexler shot two people and then himself in the Mühlviertel region. On Monday, the expert report finally emerged which established the probable time of death of the double murderer. In the light of these events, it is not surprising that all the alarm bells immediately rang at the police after this emergency call.

Dispute three weeks ago
On Sunday lunchtime, the waitress (31) of a restaurant in Steinerkirchen an der Traun called the emergency services because she had been threatened by a hunter. Not for the first time: an argument had already broken out in the restaurant on December 1st. The topic: keeping the closing time.

"Get the gun, I'll shoot everyone"
The accused threatened to get his gun out of the car and shoot everyone. On Saturday evening, the 53-year-old gun owner returned and again made a remark that made the waitress feel threatened. The 31-year-old reported this on Sunday.

Because the accused hunter is in possession of several weapons, Cobra was also called in to assist. The hunter was found at his home address and his weapons and ammunition were seized by the officers. Although the suspected threat refused to make a statement when questioned, he was released.
