Huge jubilation at Rapid! The 3-0 home win over FC Copenhagen saw the Hütteldorfer finish the league phase of the Conference League in fourth place. The Green-Whites are now through to the last 16 and there was no stopping them in the dressing room.

"SK Rapid", screamed midfielder Lukas Grgic on the way into the dressing room. There was huge relief after the success over the highly rated Danes.

Debut for Wurmbrand
Nikolas Wurmbrand celebrated his debut "in the circle". At the age of 18 years and 349 days, the striker replaced Roman Wallner (who scored two goals in a 5-1 win over Partizan Belgrade in September 2001 at the age of 19 years and 235 days) as Rapids' youngest two-time European Cup goalscorer.

"He's always been hard-working and dangerous in the last few games, and today he was rewarded. What could be better than scoring two goals in front of the West in such an important game?" beamed Klauß. Rapid go into the Christmas break in high spirits before the spring begins on January 11th with sports medicine tests.
