Impatient senior pushed woman with car into ditch

Spectacular scenes are likely to have occurred on Wednesday morning in Kössen (Kitzbühel district)! A senior citizen (80) forced a car off the road while overtaking and pushed it into the ditch. The driver (28) was seriously injured.

The wild action happened at around 10.30 am on Walchseestraße in the municipality of Kössen. The 80-year-old German wanted to overtake the car in front of him in his car. Despite oncoming traffic stopping, he started an overtaking maneuver and touched the trunk of the car in front of him. Inside was a 28-year-old German woman.

Second attempt ended in an accident
A short time later, the senior citizen set off again and began to overtake. This time, he steered his vehicle halfway to the right and hit the woman's car again. In doing so, he pushed her into the ditch.

Woman seriously injured
The German woman was seriously injured and was taken to Kufstein District Hospital after first aid. Both vehicles sustained considerable damage. After the accident, traffic was briefly stopped in both directions.
