Who will stay on? Nerves are on edge in the ÖVP

Decision day for the ÖVP and SPÖ: In the Styrian Black Party, the current government members Christopher Drexler, Werner Amon and Karlheinz Kornhäusl are running for their seats today - one of them will lose them. Max Lercher wants to win the state parliamentary mandate for the Reds. 

Nerves are on edge in the Styrian ÖVP. The main questions: Can Drexler, still governor of Styria, convince the party executive to approve the coalition agreement this evening? Even more exciting: Will the party grandees follow his personnel proposal for the future ÖVP government seats? 

And most exciting of all: will they convincingly endorse their party leader, who was only granted a "ticket" for the coalition negotiations - but no more - after the election failure three weeks ago? Or will the still provincial governor even spring a surprise and not join the new Styrian provincial government as deputy governor under Mario Kunasek? An analysis.
