Huge map for primary school children

This makes learning really fun: thanks to generous local sponsors, the St. Margarethen elementary school with 38 children has been equipped with a 16 square meter, multi-dimensional map of the state of Salzburg as part of the "Understanding Salzburg" project.

The children can, for example, lay out chains along traffic routes and thus get a feel for distances. "In times of digitalization, it's important that the pupils can take things into their own hands," says principal Katharina Jeßner, delighted with the upgrade.

The map also includes around 40 boxes on topics such as business or customs. More than 60 elementary school in Salzburg are equipped with them.
