A bang effect at the Lower Austrian Health Agency

The Provincial Health Agency has been the subject of numerous discussions in Lower Austria. Now the board of the huge company is to be re-tendered. This begins with a surprise: the powerful LGA boss Konrad Kogler will no longer be applying!

In a letter to employees and the Supervisory Board, Konrad Kogler expresses his thanks - but also draws a line in the sand: "We have achieved a lot together over the past few years!" However, the 60-year-old also talks about the increasing challenges in the health and care sector.

Retires at the end of February 2025
Kogler then also writes about his personal future: "At the same time, I would like to inform you personally that after more than five years of enthusiastic development work, which we have now completed, I will not be applying for a further term of office as a member of the Lower Austrian LGA Board."

The employment relationship of Kogler, who worked as State Police Director for Lower Austria before joining the LGA, will end at the end of February 2025. Since his time as Director General for Public Security, he has been considered a close confidant of ÖVP Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, who was Minister of the Interior at the time.
